Originally from Michigan’s Upper Peninsula, Mike holds a degree in recreation management from Lake Superior State University (MI) where he played college tennis. He served as a member of the Wildwood professional staff from 1994-1999 when he accepted a position as a head tennis professional in Appleton, Wisconsin. He returned to Wildwood in 2001 as assistant club manager before being promoted to Managing Professional in 2002.

Mike is very active in the tennis industry currently serving as USPTA Midwest Division board officer and was awarded the USPTA Indiana State Professional of the Year in 1998. In addition to his club responsibilities, Mike is deeply involved in local charities and serves as the Wightman Cup Coach coach as well as a USTA Recreational Coaches Workshop clinician.
